This Valentine's Day, grow some love with the Plantable Valentine's Day card! I'm a Valentine's Day fanatic, so these cards will be great not only for my sweetie but for other special friends and sisters-in-law and anyone else that needs a bit of lovin'!
Plant the card and wildflowers will grow, a lasting reminder of love and affection!
Looking for some Valentine's Day themed desktop patterns for your computer? I love these pink and red ones from Good Housekeeping magazine online.
My Wednesday through Friday last week were full, fantastic, interesting days spent at the Direct Marketing Association Washington Conference. With an invitation from Polly Craik of Fineline, I attended the conference and met many wonderful people.
The days were packed with sessions and networking with the highlight of the Thursday evening reception at the Canadian Embassy in Washington (the photo above is from the reception room, looking out).
The Premier of Manitoba, Gary Doer, addressed the group at the reception. Later that evening, I had the privilege of dining with the Premier, the Deputy Minister of Federal-Provincial and International Relations and Trade Diane Gray, and several other interesting and stimulating dinner guests.
We handed out a gift card to each guest at the reception, as a thank you from Fineline. The card was printed on our plantable eco paper that grows wildflowers when the card is planted.
What a great way to communicate the message - a beautiful full-color on a card made from 100% post-consumer waste, which can later be planted to grow beautiful wildflowers. It was a lovely card and will provide each guest with a blooming reminder of the special evening.
Thank you to each and every person that I met at the DMA. I look forward to meeting again!
They're here! The new Celebration Grow Favors, made with 100% post-consumer waste and 100% recyclable into wildflowers!
Four fabulous designs were created by Kal Barteski, and the favors can be mailed in their very own mailing envelopes.

Good Monday Morning to you! I'm posting some pictures from the Wonderful Wedding Show this weekend. When you visited with us at the booth, here is the postcard that you received. One side features Botanical PaperWorks and the other side, Absorb Creative.
Below are some photos of the booth, including a shot of me, Liz and Kelli, plus a picture of the new 100% plantable, 100% post-consumer waste fiber favors and cards from Botanical PaperWorks. They will be posted on the website this week!
Have a great day!

A big thanks goes to the Baltimore Sun for featuring the 2008 Plantable Eco Calendar in the gift-giving guide before Christmas. You can read the complete article online; look for the calendar about 3/4 of the way down the page.
It starts today - the 2008 Sundance Film Festival!
Botanical PaperWorks is thrilled to have the 2008 Plantable Eco Calendars™ included in the celebrity gift bags at Sundance.
As written in the article "Sundance celebrity gift bags get a little lighter", no celebrity event these days would be complete without "green" options to cater to the growing group of eco-conscious Hollywood stars emulating the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Plantable Eco Calendar is a completely green product, made with 100% post-consumer waste in a recycled and reusable tin. When the month is over, the page recycles into wildflowers in a pot or garden, leaving no waste.
Designed by Kal Barteski, the 2008 Plantable Eco Calendar has been a hit and we're excited about the many new designs scheduled to launch later this year for 2009. Contact us about creating your own custom eco calendar, just like the good people at National Geographic Channel did this year.
Check out tonight's announcement about lower prices on envelope wraps [the distinctive peel-and-stick envelope labels that coordinate with the modern photo invitations] from sister company Absorb Creative.
