Hello there! It's been a great weekend and a good Monday so far. Life and business have been full and interesting.
On Friday, I had a wonderful tour of BW Imaging and talked with Rick & Co. in the printing area. My favorite part - seeing the Heidelberg letterpress in action. Here's a picture that I took of the machine doing some die-cutting:
Last week, I met with my physiotherapist who told me "Doing cardio and Pilates 5x per week is an absolute must". Many of you know about the jaw disorder that I have (TMJ) and how a combination of walking and Pilates keeps that in check. But funny how the thing that you KNOW will help you is often the LAST thing you feel like doing, eh? After that kick-in-the-butt from the physio, I fired up my motivation and so far, I've been consistent in doing a 1/2 hour of walking and 15 min. of Pilates five times in the week. Ask me in a week or two if I'm still at it.
Yesterday, I hung out at the Urban Oasis Mineral Spa for a few hours with my Mom. We needed to catch up on life, so we soaked in the pool and chatted and snacked on bagels and apples. It was low-key and wonderful.
Today, Susan and I whipped the Assembly department into ship-shape. We called friend and local artist Janet Carroll to come pick up extra Esca Board to use it in her bookbinding classes. Nice to get rid of old stuff and help out the public school system in one stroke.
Here are samples of plantable promotional products from several recent jobs. Hope they give you some ideas for how to promote your business, charity, school in an eco-friendly way.
