It's a long weekend here in Canada and while I'll be spending a lot of my time shuttling kids to different events, I'm going to be sure to squeeze in some fun. Here's what I'll be doing:
GOLF TIME: The snow is gone and I'm ready to get better at golf. I didn't golf one single time last year, so this year, I've joined a ladies' league at Southside Golf Course. I'm doing a golf clinic on Sunday and believe me, I need it. Over the next three months, I'll be playing eight games with my team and I'm really looking forward to it.
READING TIME: Now that I've finished The Giver Quartet series by Lois Lowry, I'm feeling a little lost. I'm currently reading a fairly dry but interesting non-fiction book, but I need something fun. Suggestions?
QUIET TIME: A busy week needs balancing with some quiet time, so I'll be spending time sitting and staring at the big pine tree in my backyard. It's a bit of a bird hotel, so it's fun to just sit and watch. I have a pocket guide to North American birds but this online guide looks handy.
Have yourself a great weekend!
