"Trees shed their leaves and are dormant before there is regrowth. What do you need to shed in order to grow?"
I recently wrote a blog post over at the Botanical PaperWorks blog called Seasons of Change.
It all started after I read a beautiful quote from the people at the Enneagram Institute. They send a daily email called the EnneaThought for the Day which you can sign up for here: https://www.enneagraminstitute.com.
It's been 19.5 years since my Mom Mary and I started Botanical PaperWorks and this time has been a time of reflection for me. When the EnneaThought challenged me to reflect on what I needed to shed, I thought about the many changes that we've made this year at Botanical PaperWorks. My blog post reflects on these changes and I talk about a number of things we chose to stop doing.
Please head over to the Botanical PaperWorks blog and read more about how the company is growing and how letting go of our traditional stationery line made room for new opportunities.
P.S. This has definitely been a year of "pruning" for me. If you want to read more, check out this blog post on Why I quit playing golf to make space in my life.
