I was at McNally Robinson Booksellers this weekend and snapped this picture of Botanical PaperWorks' plantable card sets and Yummy Cards in the journal section of the Grant Park store.
Look what I received today in the mail - a plantable thank you card from Winnipeg company Pinnacle. We produced this seeded card for them about a month ago, and it's pretty cool to receive one back. Thanks Dean!
I dropped into McNally Robinson Booksellers this morning and took some pictures of our plantable cards on display. Here are our plantable Earth Day cards which I love and the one next to it caught my fancy so I bought it; I like to have an assortment of greeting cards on hand, some from our line and some from other designers.

The Botanical PaperWorks holiday card this year had the message of "Seedy Greetings and a Blooming New Year", printed on one of our plantable Holiday Cards of course!
Here's a one-of-a-kind plantable holiday card from the creative and innovative Fusion Communications Group. The belly band is embedded with spruce tree seeds, the same paper used in our Plantable Holiday Gift Tags. We love that Fusion is making a donation on each recipient's behalf to World Vision's Agricultural Packs.

Drumming Papermaker
Ever wondered what a papermaker does after dark? Phoebe Man, papermaker extraordinaire at Botanical PaperWorks is also a taiko drummer. Recently, Phoebe got together with two other artists in a pre-arranged jam session and recorded this song Something Is Kind Of Amiss (click on "Week 15" to open the tab).
A chance chat on the playground resulted in my meeting this talented entrepreneur and graphic designer, Holly Clarke. Her company, Small Potatoes, designs and produces baby clothes and accessories. One of my favorite quotes on her site is for a Nursing Cover - "Because baby's feeding time shouldn't be a peep show for Uncle Earl". Hah! How many women have felt like that before!
