Happy Earth Day to you!

Over the last couple of weeks and months, we've been printing up a storm of plantable coasters, hand-outs and posters, all for companies like Honda and Starbucks to handout on Earth Day. No to snow

I'm protesting the snow and this is my official No To Snow picture. Does the weather get the message?

Today is Work-Hard Wednesday with tons of stuff on my plate. Gathering logs for last year's R&D expenditures, prepping for tomorrow's Wall Street Journal article, writing a job description for a new position at Botanical PapeWorks and picking up last-minute plantable Easter cards.

In the meantime, I'm enjoying the outdoor pictures here, wearing my favorite vintage pin (it belong to my Nannie, my great-grandma) and drinking one of these. Not a bad way to start the day.

Creating a Green Valentine's Day

I came across an awesome blog today as I was checking our Google mentions. We were mentioned in the blog Crafting A Green World by client and blogger Jackie from Tiny Decor in the post Finding Custom Eco-friendly Labels and Hangtags. Thank you Jackie!

Crafting A Green World has tons of do-it-yourself projects that incorporate reused, recycled, and natural materials, including these ideas for ways to celebrate a green Valentine's Day (which is coming up NEXT WEEK!).

In our household, we're giving Plantable Heart Notes this year for Valentine's Day. We had the tags printed with "Happy Valentine's Day" and each of my girls will practice their printing by writing their names on the tag, and the name of the recipient on the mini envelope. I'm offering a special price for customization - just $5 [added Feb. 2 - for clarification, the $5 is for personalization - the favors usually come unpersonalized; favors are $0.70 ea] for an unlimited number of Plantable Heart Notes. Time for a plantable thanksgiving

All the signs of Fall are here - pumpkins in the field, orange accents in textiles and cardstock, red apples and crunchy leaves. We've stocked up on Plantable Thanksgiving Cards for our shop and for our corporate clients. I love how some businesses have started sending Thanksgiving Cards instead of Holiday Cards, using the opportunity to thank their clients for their business. And the plantable Thanksgiving Cards seem very appropriate symbol for "business blooming and growing".
