We celebrated a major birthday milestone this week. 70 years. It's hard to wrap my head around what that means for someone. That's a lot of years of highs and lows, heres and theres, aheads and backs. Made me think of what I'll be like when I reach that milestone. I'm hoping that I head more in the relaxed and laid-back direction and less in the old-and-cranky, but you never know.
We gave one of the new 70th cards from the Milestone seed card collection. We feasted on meat at Hermanos. This platter was meant for two. We brought 1/3 of the food home, no joke.
It was a great evening and I felt lucky to be there to celebrate 70. And thankful for family in general.
