I do agree - these ARE the world's cutest notepads

She called these The World's Cutest Notepads, and I TOTALLY agree! Mayi from Heartmade has designed and produced the most adorable, most fun, most interesting notepads that I've seen in a long time.

Mayi says in her blog:

"Cuz I believe that your world domination efforts shouldn't feel like smelly chores."

Yah! I love that line. Especially because years ago when an older, wiser businessperson (man) asked me how my business was going, I told him that I was working towards world domination, and we've joked about that ever since!

I get seriously tired of my electronic to-do lists in OmniFocus or my carefully typed up lists in Evernote and I CRAVE a fun place to write, with a pen (one of my favorite pens) and then check off with a flourish as I complete each item.

Jewelry for stationery lovers

 

Even people who love stationery need some bling, right? I love this ampersand necklace from Christina Kober Designs. Plated with 18 carat gold, the necklace was designed with beautiful symbolism. Here's what she says:

"Are you part of an and? I'm part of an "and": Christina & Dan. This tiny, three letter word can hold a lot of meaning, connecting two people together through love, friendship, and commitment. Wearing this symbol, the ampersand, is a simple way to show your connection and your commitment."

I think this necklace appeals to me because with a love of stationery also comes a love of typography. And speaking of which, I'm in love with this new (and free) font called Intro Inline found thanks to Pugly Pixel. Enjoy!

Welcome March in the way paper and stationery lovers do

How do people who love paper and stationery welcome a new month? By turning the page in their calendars! I LOVE flipping over or ripping out a new page in a calendar, which I did to my Eco Calendar (the one that grows wildflowers when you plant each page) on the evening of February 29.

Stationery in spicy Tangerine Tango

Tangerine Tango is the Pantone Color of the Year and from seed paper to office accessories, I'm surrounding myself with this inspiring color. Before Pantone made the declaration, I was already crazy about Tangerine, so I'm super excited to announce that my company Botanical PaperWorks now has a Tangerine seed paper.
